Ariel Rivera is an artist, writer, and painting instructor based in San Francisco. Her work explores the ways the natural world and the inner human journey reflect one another. Through her paintings, she examines the relationship between our emotional landscapes and the physical spaces we share, tracing where land, memory, myth, and intuition overlap.

Primarily self-taught, she works out of her studio at Root Division in downtown SF, where she also teaches painting classes for adults.
